The star carves out a path
lighting up the way for others
It beckons us to follow
in its wake
to tread the contours marked out
and those we can barely imagine
It lures us in
out of the shadows
banking on our curiosity
to keep us on the quest
for that sense of promise
and fulfillment
that can only be sated
by a love
that is out of this world.
