Another kind of silence

So they went out and fled from the tomb, for terror and amazement had seized them; and they said nothing to anyone, for they were afraid. Mark 1:8

No Alleluia!

No Amen!

Just a stunned silence

from the women

who went to the tomb

early in the morning.

Was it because they were overcome? 

with emotion?

with fear?

Or was it because

they realised

that if this was true

if he could rise from death

as he told them

then all those other things he said

must also be true

and we've been tagged

to continue the story. 

Still God waits

For the ending

depends on us.
